Dartmouth Democrats Candidates Night for the 9th Bristol District
Steve Medeiros to Attend Dartmouth Democrats Candidates Night for the 9th Bristol District

The Dartmouth Democratic Town Committee will host a Candidates Night for the Massachusetts House 9th Bristol District race on Tuesday, August 11 at 6:00 p.m. at Dartmouth Town Hall in the Select Board Room (Room 304). Doors will open at 5:00 p.m.

The event will feature Democratic candidates seeking to represent the 9th Bristol District seat in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. The seat is currently held by Christopher Markey, who is now running for Bristol County District Attorney.

Steve Medeiros will be participating in the forum and looks forward to speaking directly with residents about the future of the district, the priorities facing local communities, and the issues impacting families across Dartmouth and New Bedford.

The forum is being organized to give voters an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates, learn where they stand on important issues, and better understand their vision for both the district and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The evening’s format will include:

  • Candidate introductions and opening remarks
  • Questions focused on priorities for the 9th Bristol District communities
  • Questions focused on statewide issues affecting Massachusetts residents
  • Audience questions
  • Candidate-to-candidate questions

The event will also be recorded and broadcast by Dartmouth Community Television, allowing additional residents throughout the district to tune in and stay informed.

Residents are encouraged to attend, participate, and learn more about the candidates seeking to represent the 9th Bristol District on Beacon Hill.
